Q: Is the app available internationally?

A: Yes, the app has world wide METARs, TAFs, and PIREPs.  US subscribers benefit from Airmets, Sigmets, MOS, Prognosis, Sig-Wx, Radar, & TRFs.

Q: What devices does the app support?

A:  Both iPhone & iPad.

Q: Is an Android release in the future?

A: Android development is currently on hold. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when the WX24Pilot Android is made available.

Q: Can I install the app on more than one device?

A: Yes! One subscription (per iTunes account) covers unlimited number of devices.  Use the restore feature to retrieve subscriptions to other devices.

Q: What options are available for learning how to use the app?

A: There are many different learning options from videos, downloadable user guide, and interactive slides.  Tutorials are found both on the website and on the app under Settings > Tutorials.  If all else fails call and I’ll setup a Skype video conference and walk step-by-step through all the features.

Q: Where does the Wx data come from?

A:  The weather data comes from the National Weather Service compliments of US taxpayers.  Think of it this way; if you are a US citizen you have already purchased the data with your taxes now you can actually benefit from that purchase with the help of wx24Pilot.   If you are not a US citizen you get the data for free.
